34 weeks

Total weight gain: 27.5 lbs. I get a LOT of comments about my weight gain (or really, what people think my weight gain is just by looking at me). People have commented, “Oh, you haven’t gained much weight at all, have you?” and my boss today said to me after a meeting, “You are not eating enough!” Umm, hello, but the scale does not lie. I am packing on the lbs quite fine, thank you very much.
Baby is now the size of: A butternut squash. She is weighing in at close to 5 lbs and is close to 18 inches long.
Biggest craving this week: Anything dairy. Milk, cheese, yogurt…..yum!!!
How I’m Feeling: Tired and heavy. Although I have yet to start the pregnant waddle, I seriously feel like I weigh 200 lbs when I walk. Today I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs and by the time I got to the 3rd floor my legs felt like stone and I was out of breath. That is seriously sad. Sometimes it panics me how out of shape I am, since I was in great running shape right before I got pregnant. But I keep telling myself that I will get it back!! Besides feeling obese I have been so excited!! This past weekend Brett and I did a LOT of work on the nursery and it is looking so cute. It really is coming together exactly how I pictured it in my mind. Now all that’s missing is baby girl.
How clothes fit: The same as I said before. I actually grew out of a maternity tank top!! My wardrobe is dwindling, but I’ve reached the point where I’m close enough to the end where I feel like buying more maternity clothes would be a waste of money. So I’ll just keep wearing the same outfits over and over again and let people judge.
Movement: I’m still pretty sure I’m giving birth to a dancer. Or maybe that’s just my wishful “I’m addicted to the show Dance Moms” thinking. But seriously, I swear she reacts to music. When I’m listening to the radio and I turn up a song with a particularly good beat, baby’s jammin’ away inside, bouncing and kicking!
Random: Nothing comes to mind this week. I’m excited to get our last ultra sound in a few weeks! This is the point where they will hopefully be able to give us a good estimate on how much our little chub is going to weigh at birth. All I want is for her to have some squishy cheeks. Keep on putting on the lbs baby!!
Looking forward to: My baby shower!
