I’ll admit; we feed Leah sugar. I mean the kid has animal crackers and licks of my ice cream pretty much on a daily basis. Yes, she’s mostly on a healthy diet of breast milk, oatmeal cereal, and pureed fruits and vegetables, but I’ll be honest; the other day when we were at the doctor’s office and she was FA-REAKIN out because she was getting hungry and tired, I dug through the diaper bag and came up with only a little pack of Mott’s fruit snacks I packed last time we traveled as a snack for me. And I totally hid from any prying nurse eyes and broke off bits of fruit snacks to feed my baby. And she loved it. And stopped screaming, so yeah, problem solved. But when it comes to something like glazed donuts, we aren’t normally feeding them to Leah for breakfast. But Brett loves a good Sunday morning donut so last Sunday, for Father’s Day, Leah and I slipped out of the house early in the morning and brought him back 2 delicious glazed donuts to enjoy. And daddy was sweet enough to share his yummy treat with Leah and mommy was smart enough to catch her reaction on my Iphone camera. So without further ado I give you: Leah meets a donut.
